Community Foundation Grey Bruce to Launch 2026 Vital Signs Report
OWEN SOUND, ON — Community Foundation Grey Bruce will release its latest Vital Signs report, a comprehensive community “check-up” that provides a snapshot of quality of life across Grey and Bruce counties and highlights key priorities for the future.
The report will be officially launched at a public event on June 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound. Community members, partners, and stakeholders are invited to attend and learn more about the findings and emerging priorities. The report will also be available for free download on the Foundation’s website.
The Vital Signs report measures community well-being, identifies significant trends, and encourages action on the issues that matter most to residents. The 2026 edition focuses on six key areas shaping life in Grey Bruce:
- Community and belonging
- Living standards
- Housing
- Health and wellness
- Recreation and learning
- Environment and climate
“Vital Signs uses community data to paint a clear picture of well-being across Grey Bruce,” said Stuart Reid, Executive Director of Community Foundation Grey Bruce. “It is designed not only to inform, but to inspire meaningful dialogue and action as we work together to build a stronger, more vibrant community.”
The report was developed by a committee of local non-profit sector experts, with support from Watson & Associates Economists, and is designed to present complex data in an accessible, easy-to-understand format. It serves as an agenda-setting tool for local leaders, organizations, and residents by identifying priority areas related to community health and well-being.
Findings from the report will also help guide the Foundation’s granting decisions, ensuring investments align with the region’s most pressing needs and support the work of local agencies and community partners.
