NEW Ag Bursaries for Grey Bruce Students
OWEN SOUND, ON, May 7, 2018 – Community Foundation Grey Bruce is pleased to announce two new scholarships for students graduating from secondary school and moving into agricultural studies in college or university. Both bursaries are being distributed for the first time this year.
The Larry & Darlene Miller Agricultural Bursary supports agricultural and agri-food studies and/or animal science or animal biology including genetics and/or food safety. This bursary supports post-secondary studies for students in financial need who are graduating from a Grey or Bruce secondary school and who are attending a recognized university or community college.
This award is provided through the Larry & Darlene Miller Agricultural Endowment Fund held by the Community Foundation Grey Bruce.
A second bursary, created by the Owen Sound & District Market Vendors Association, supports students graduating from a Grey or Bruce secondary school and pursuing post-secondary agricultural studies at a recognized university or community college (including college apprenticeship programs in agricultural related studies).
This award is provided through the Owen Sound Farmer's Market Agricultural Bursary held by the Community Foundation Grey Bruce.
